Dr. Peiman Mahdavi, D.M.D.
Biography
Dr. Peiman Mahdavi received his B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of California at Davis and his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his general practice residency at New England Medical Centre and Tufts University, followed by a two-year post-graduate residency in Orthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Mahdavi served as President of the Massachusetts Association of Orthodontists from 2010 to 2012 and he was President of the Tufts University Dental Alumni Association from 2017-2018.
Dr. Mahdavi became an Invisalign Certified Orthodontists in 2000 and is now a top level Invisalign Provider. Dr. Mahdavi is a proud partner of Smiles Change Lives, a national Non- Profit Organization that helps kids from low-income families get braces.
He is an avid cyclist and completed many Pass Mass Challange rides, a cycling fundraising event which has raised over a billion dollars for Dana-Farber cancer Institute.
He and his wife reside in the suburbs of Boston, MA. As a family, with his two grown daughters, they also enjoy skiing, traveling, and hiking. When Dr. Mahdavi considers treatment recommendations for a patient, he always applies the same care and consideration he would for his own family. His approach ensures that his recommendations are always grounded in integrity and the highest standards of dental care.
